New Hampshire, or as it's lovingly nicknamed by our cool imaginary character, the "Granite Groover", the "Rockin' Robin State", is one not just of mountains and lakes, but of melodies and harmonies too. The Groover, a funky little rock creature with a slick hairdo and shiny sunglasses, loves to bop around to the bountiful beats of the state's young musicians. The kids who participate in music activities in the Granite Groover's state are as diverse as the leaves on the magnificent maple trees in autumn. Some tap out rhythms on drums like woodpeckers in the forest. Others create melodies on pianos as sweet as the state's famous maple syrup. There are the flute and clarinet players whose tunes float through the air like a breeze over Lake Winnipesaukee. And, let's not forget the guitarists, who strum spirited songs that echo off the majestic Mount Washington. These kids don't just play music, they live it, just like the Groover! They dance in the rhythm of the falling rain, they sing with the whispering wind, they harmonize with the hoot of the owl, and they compose music as diverse and beautiful as New Hampshire's breathtaking landscapes. Whenever the beats get to bouncing and the tunes start to soaring, you can bet the Granite Groover will be there, tapping his rocky toes and bobbing his stony head, laughing in delight at the creativity and spirit of New Hampshire's musical kids. For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. Welcome to Camp Tevya, a spirited Jewish overnight camp! Our mission is to enrich children's lives with FUN, forever-friendships and confidence, through caring, positive role models, and Jewish values. Situated on the shores of Lake Potanipo in southern New Hampshire, Tevya offers a classic New England summer, full of energy, sports and activities from waterskiing to tennis to soccer to talent shows. Our counselors encourage our campers to take chances, to try new things, and to experience the satisfaction of accomplishment every day. Campers discover the joy of a large, lively community that lives deeply connected to Israel and our shared Jewish heritage and values. Founded in 1940, Tevya welcomes campers from throughout the Northeast, including both new friends and many children of alumni. Camp Tevya is one of three overnight camps in the Cohen Camps family: its siblings are the smaller, nut-free Tel Noar and the all-girls Pembroke. Each Cohen Camp shines with its own personality, while connected by a common vision and three generations of leadership. As part of the Cohen Camps, our mission is to enrich children’s lives by encouraging Jewish youth to be comfortable and confident in themselves so that they can connect positively with others and the world they live in. They are a community of positive role models who help the youth explore their Jewish identity and experience the joy of their Jewish heritage. The campers and counselors leave camp determined to sustain Judaism and the Jewish People and are committed to contributing responsibly to their world.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran, Miss Lace offers instruction tailored to all ages and abilities in a fun and safe environment. Miss Lace has a wealth of experience in the field, having achieved multiple national championship titles in dance, gymnastics, and Div.1 co-ed collegiate cheer. She has also trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and earned a Junior Olympics Silver Medal. Her students have achieved a great deal of success, including winning many state and national titles. Her impressive 20+ years of coaching experience, coupled with her caring and supportive touch, have created a training program that produces winning results.
