Once upon a time in the magical state of New Hampshire, where the White Mountains guard the land like humongous chunks of fluffy whipped cream and lakes sparkle like millions of diamonds under the sun, there was a gang of cool, goofy kids known as the "Pedal Pals". Now, these weren't your ordinary kids, oh no! They were a wild, adventurous bunch who loved nothing more than to hop onto their bikes and explore the enchanting woods, the vibrant wildlife, and the dazzling water bodies of their beautiful state. Their leader was a quirky, fun-loving character named "Wheelie Wally". Wally was a giggly, freckled 10-year-old with a bright red cap that he wore backwards, and he was as famous for his fantastic wheelies as he was for his ridiculously funny jokes. And boy, could he make the Pedal Pals laugh! His laughter was infectious - so infectious, in fact, that even the grumpy old squirrels would chuckle when they heard it echoing through the woods. Each day, the Pedal Pals would set off on a new biking adventure, their faces beaming with excitement and their hearts thumping with anticipation. They would speed down the hilly terrains of the White Mountains, whoosh past the tranquil Lake Winnipesaukee, and cycle through the dense, intriguing woods, their laughter and cheer filling the air. And so, life in New Hampshire was nothing short of a thrilling, laugh-out-loud adventure for the Pedal Pals. Every day was a new story, every path a new discovery, and every bike ride a memory to cherish. New Hampshire was not just a state for them; it was their playground, their home, their adventure land.

Welcome to Camp Tevya, a spirited Jewish overnight camp! Our mission is to enrich children's lives with FUN, forever-friendships and confidence, through caring, positive role models, and Jewish values. Situated on the shores of Lake Potanipo in southern New Hampshire, Tevya offers a classic New England summer, full of energy, sports and activities from waterskiing to tennis to soccer to talent shows. Our counselors encourage our campers to take chances, to try new things, and to experience the satisfaction of accomplishment every day. Campers discover the joy of a large, lively community that lives deeply connected to Israel and our shared Jewish heritage and values. Founded in 1940, Tevya welcomes campers from throughout the Northeast, including both new friends and many children of alumni. Camp Tevya is one of three overnight camps in the Cohen Camps family: its siblings are the smaller, nut-free Tel Noar and the all-girls Pembroke. Each Cohen Camp shines with its own personality, while connected by a common vision and three generations of leadership. As part of the Cohen Camps, our mission is to enrich children’s lives by encouraging Jewish youth to be comfortable and confident in themselves so that they can connect positively with others and the world they live in. They are a community of positive role models who help the youth explore their Jewish identity and experience the joy of their Jewish heritage. The campers and counselors leave camp determined to sustain Judaism and the Jewish People and are committed to contributing responsibly to their world.
