These kids are not just ordinary kids – they are the magical elves of "Craftington," a name they've lovingly given to their state. Led by their whimsical leader, a jolly old leprechaun named Paddy Pallet, these kids paint, cut, paste, and create, transforming ordinary materials into extraordinary pieces of art. Paddy Pallet, with his rainbow-colored beard and paint-splattered overalls, guides these elves with a twinkle in his eye and a skip in his step. With a pot of glittering glue in one hand and a wand-like paintbrush in the other, Paddy makes each Art & Crafts session a spellbinding celebration. These Craftington kids are the champions of creativity, their imaginations as vast as the picturesque White Mountain ranges that grace their state. Each art project unfolds like one of their magnificent sunsets, bursting with colors, warmth, and heart. From creating kaleidoscopic dream catchers that mimic their star-studded night skies to crafting miniature replicas of the enchanting covered bridges that dot their landscape, these children are true artisans. For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
Welcome to Camp Tevya, a spirited Jewish overnight camp! Our mission is to enrich children's lives with FUN, forever-friendships and confidence, through caring, positive role models, and Jewish values. Situated on the shores of Lake Potanipo in southern New Hampshire, Tevya offers a classic New England summer, full of energy, sports and activities from waterskiing to tennis to soccer to talent shows. Our counselors encourage our campers to take chances, to try new things, and to experience the satisfaction of accomplishment every day. Campers discover the joy of a large, lively community that lives deeply connected to Israel and our shared Jewish heritage and values. Founded in 1940, Tevya welcomes campers from throughout the Northeast, including both new friends and many children of alumni. Camp Tevya is one of three overnight camps in the Cohen Camps family: its siblings are the smaller, nut-free Tel Noar and the all-girls Pembroke. Each Cohen Camp shines with its own personality, while connected by a common vision and three generations of leadership. As part of the Cohen Camps, our mission is to enrich children’s lives by encouraging Jewish youth to be comfortable and confident in themselves so that they can connect positively with others and the world they live in. They are a community of positive role models who help the youth explore their Jewish identity and experience the joy of their Jewish heritage. The campers and counselors leave camp determined to sustain Judaism and the Jewish People and are committed to contributing responsibly to their world.
