About Stars Dance Academy

STARS Dance Academy has been an Omaha staple since 2003, and we’re proud to be celebrating 18 seasons of quality dance education! Our classes are small and designed to give each student the individual attention they need to reach their goals. Our teachers are passionate about their craft and are dedicated to being inspiring and encouraging role models. At STARS, we understand the importance of providing dancers with a comprehensive and well-rounded education that goes beyond just technical skills. We seek to instill in them a sense of accomplishment and self-worth, and to foster lasting friendships. We also encourage our dancers to use the art of dance to express themselves in a healthy way and to work hard and persevere. Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive family atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and appreciated.

Creative movement
Teaching dance steps and helping students develop strength and coordination, our classes are designed to help these little dancers acclimate to the dance studio environment and learn social skills like listening to a teacher, following directions, and making friends!

These little dancers improve upon the ballet steps learned in our creative movement classes (Me & My Buddy, Baby Ballet and Me & My Bear), learn new skills, and are introduced to the world of tap dancing!

Ballet teaches students strength, grace and discipline while tap teaches musicality and timing.
