Einstein's Workshop is a hands-on community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. During the summer, we offer STEAM camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Camp topics include Minecraft, LEGO robotics, 3D printing, Dungeons&Dragons, science, math, chess, programming, game learning, digital art, making, inventing, and engineering. During the school year we offer classes on the same topics and coach FIRST LEGO League teams. We host birthday parties for lovers of Minecraft, LEGO, and hands-on fun! We also offer drop-in hours for spontaneous play in our STEAM Play Space.

Our campers enjoy a wide range of activities which allow them to develop confidence in the outdoors. From swimming and boating to archery and fishing, there is something for everyone. All activities are supervised by YMCA-trained professionals who help facilitate a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. YMCA Camp Kitaki offers more than just fun activities. Our campers also have the opportunity to get to know themselves better and develop meaningful relationships with their peers. We strive to promote positive identity, relationships, values, and skills in our campers through activities, group discussions, and mentoring.
