About Mount Pilot Child Enrichment Center in Pinnacle, NC
Parents, the Mount Pilot Child Enrichment Center was founded in 2007 by Les and Wendi Bennett. Wendi had been a kindergarten teacher at the Millennium Charter Academy in Mt Airy, NC for three years, and it was through this experience that she saw the need for educating young children before attending public school. Knowing that they wanted to ensure that their children would have the knowledge they need, the couple decided to start a daycare center. At the Mount Pilot Child Enrichment Center, we offer quality daycare services for children aged between six weeks and five years, as well as before and after school care for kindergarteners through fifth graders. We are committed to providing the best possible care to all of our children, and to ensuring that they have the tools they need to thrive in their academic and social lives. With our qualified and experienced staff, and our commitment to providing the best possible care, we are sure that your child will have a positive experience at the Mount Pilot Child Enrichment Center. Birth - 2.5 yrs
Your infant/toddler is at a crucial point in his life when his senses are his only tools for learning. At MPCEC, your child will be in a nurturing, caring environment with teachers who know the importance of positive reinforcement and social interaction

Pre-K1/Prek2
The Pre-K program is the most important step in your child’s transition into kindergarten. Here they will continue in the High Scope curriculum but the focus will shift from the basics to more advanced concepts such as math, body parts, opposites, and other concepts necessary for your child to feel completely comfortable at their screening. Each child will have the opportunity for age appropriate art, building, manipulative and dramatic play, and outdoor activities.

School Age Care
The School Age Care program consists of two segments. First being before and after school care, and the second is Summer Camp. The Before/After School program will allow your child to work on their homework in a relaxed atmosphere while having a staff member available for assistance if necessary. There will be supervised computer access and outdoor play each day. We currently service Shoals(via bus), Copeland(via daycare van), and Westfield(via daycare van).
