About Future Fashion Designers in Mooresville, NC
Shawnelle wanted to make sure that kids today had the opportunity to explore their creativity with fashion. That's why she created Future Fashion Designers which is a place for kids to ignite and learn the art of fashion design. Our mission is to nurture and inspire the next generation of fashion designers. Through Future Fashion Designers, kids can explore sewing, design and other fashion related activities. Shawnelle has a passion for teaching kids how to sew and express their fashion ideas. She is dedicated to helping kids discover the joys of fashion design and create their own unique looks. She hopes to bring the creative spirit of fashion design to every child who enters Future Fashion Designers.

Fashion & Sewing SUMMER CAMPS
In Fashion Design & Sewing Camp Full Day Camps we will be learning how a fashion designer designs, exploring the techniques for fashion sketching and learning to sew by sewing accessories and a fashion skirt that we design. We will also be discovering where to get inspiration and how to make and use fashion mood boards, an important process a designer uses for gathering ideas. As fashion designers, we will be learning about fabrics, trims and color schemes to create a cohesive collection for a target market. Sewing and Fashion Design all in one! Ages 8-16

A great class to take to get you started in sewing! We go over all the main tools we use and teach you how operate a machine successfully. Learn what all the dials and buttons do and most importantly how to properly thread it so the machine does not jam up and you can get on with your projects! It's sew easy!
