Our summer camps and drop-in academy feature the latest coding and robotics technologies, including Scratch, Stencyl, Lego Mindstorms EV3 and WeDO, Roblox Game Dev, Minecraft Mods, Python, Web Dev, Raspberry Pi, Arduino and the WINK Robot. We are proud to be Union County's source for coding and robotics! Our camps will help students develop problem-solving skills, build confidence, and create cool projects they can use to show off their coding and robotics prowess!

Beginners LEGO ® Mindstorms ® Robotics & Scratch (Ages 10-teen)
Level: Beginner...experience with keyboard and mouse recommended. No prior robotics or coding experience necessary. Overview Our most popular coding and robotics camp is back with new engaging hands-on projects! If your son or daughter wants to learn hands-on about Robotics and Coding in a fun and friendly environment then look no further than our most popular camp! 100% Beginner Friendly. Students will build a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 robot that they will code to interact with its environment. Students will learn about sensors, motors and more! They will also create animated video games and interactive stories in MIT's Scratch - one of the most popular ways to learn coding!

Create Classic Games With Today's Most Popular Programming Language With Python being one of the most popular programming languages used for machine learning and artificial intelligence, we thought we would create a camp that teaches the students the Python language from the ground up through creating a few classic arcade games complete with all the bells and whistles. This hands-on camp is perfect for those new to coding as well as our students who have taken our other coding and robotics workshops and camps and want to further expand their knowledge with a new coding language. This is also a great for kids who have done drag-and-drop coding in Scratch who are ready to level up their coding skills with a real world professional coding language.

LEVEL: Beginner with proficiency with keyboard and mouse Invent The Future With Raspberry Pi and Python! Single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi are all the rage these days for prototyping innovative electronic and robotic inventions that are changing how we do things. Combined with the programming power of Python anything is possible! In this engaging hands-on workshop, we will create a variety of different electronics projects using Python with the Raspberry Pi and learn about circuits, resistors, buttons, buzzers, various sensors and much more. We will also learn about HATS - circuit boards that can be plugged into the Raspberry Pi to extend its functionality. By the end of the week, your child will be ready to create his or her own project that may change the world! We provide all the electronics - no need to bring your own!
