Karate is a martial art developed in the Ryukyu Kingdom. Karate is a striking art using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes, and open-hand techniques such as knife hands, spear hands, and palm-heel strikes. Historically, and in some modern styles, grappling, throws, joint locks, restraints, and vital-point strikes are also taught. It is a sport that teaches people to develop the positive aspects of their own personality through respect, courage, self-control, confidence, and patience. Classes are daily. 



KARATE  (Ages 6 and older) 

Overcome any challenger, regardless of size. This self-defense system is also a total body workout. If you are new to Martial Arts and looking for an excellent full-body workout this is where to begin!  You’ll make friends, learn how to defend yourself in real-life situations, and discover the Brazilian Jujitsu lifestyle.  This class is specifically designed to give you space to work on your basic techniques, providing different degrees of complexity within each class.  



BRAZILIAN JUJITSU (Kids 12 and older)

You’ll punch. You’ll kick. You’ll sweat. These workouts are high-intensity, face paced, heart-pounding, and full of fun.  Punches will be thrown and kicks landed.  Physical contact happens under the watchful eye of instructors. Boxing gloves, wraps, and shin guards are highly recommended to enjoy each class to its fullest.
