Karate is a martial art developed in the Ryukyu Kingdom. Karate is a striking art using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes, and open-hand techniques such as knife hands, spear hands, and palm-heel strikes. Historically, and in some modern styles, grappling, throws, joint locks, restraints, and vital-point strikes are also taught. BOXING, KICKBOXING, WRESTLING, NO GI JIUJITSU 15 years and older
You’ll punch. You’ll kick. You’ll sweat. These workouts are high-intensity, face paced, heart-pounding, and full of fun. Punches will be thrown and kicks landed. Physical contact happens under the watchful eye of instructors. Boxing gloves, wraps, and shin guards are highly recommended to enjoy each class to its fullest.
