BeAKid
RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
The Recreational Program at Steps N Motion Dance Studio offers the highest quality dance training in all styles for children and adults ages 1.5 and up. Dancers enjoy intimate sized classes in a progressive, exciting and friendly atmosphere with Steps' expert faculty. We strive each day to maintain a family atmosphere that fosters creativity, friendship, exercise, and of course FUN! Our studio is a safe place for all to be loved, accepted, and valued. Starting in the Beginner level, recreational dancers participate in the year-end Revue held at the beginning of June!

COMPETITION PROGRAM
The Competition Team at Steps N Motion Dance Studio offers dancers more intense training and performance opportunities while allowing the dancer some freedom to be involved in other extracurricular activities such as dance team, soccer, or theatre. Members of our Competition Team take class 2-3 days a week and average 3-4.5 hours per week. Competition dancers are required to train in ballet, tap, & jazz. Dancers also have /the option to train in tumbling and hip hop. The Competition Teams participate in 3 talent competitions each spring in addition to the Steps Winter Showcase and the annual June Revue. Competition Team dancers also have opportunities to perform in the community, take class from master teachers, & travel to dance conventions throughout the year!

STEPS TO PRO PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM
Steps to Pro is Charlotte’s first pre professional youth dance program offering extensive technical training in all styles of dance. The program values Steps’ fundamental foundation of a quality education, artistry, discipline, and appreciation for the art. Members of this program have an interest in becoming professionals in the dance industry. Through well rounded educational, competitive and performance experiences these dancers gain a better understanding of their desired path after the dance studio. Under the guidance of directors and mentors Steps To Pro dancers set plans to pursue success in their future careers.
