Down in the sunny, pie-lovin' state of North Carolina, there's a whole gang of adventurous kiddos who've swapped their bicycles for something a bit more...splashy. You see, these kids are absolutely wild about wakeboarding. From the misty smoky mountains to the sandy beaches of the Outer Banks, the waters of NC are always brimming with these buoyant daredevils. Now, our story centers around one cool cat named Wacky Wavy Winston, or just Win for short. Winston, with his neon-green goggles and flashy shark-tooth necklace, is the undeniable king of wakeboarding in these waters. He's got a wild mop of sun-bleached hair that makes him look like a super cool sea-borne scarecrow, and a grin wider than the Catawba River. Winston and his crew of wakeboarding whizzes rule NC's waters with their epic flips, daring jumps, and ridiculous tricks. They zip across the water faster than a roadrunner from a coyote, creating tremendous waves in their wake (hence the name, 'wakeboarding'). But let me tell you, these aren't your average kids. Oh no, they’re kind of like aquatic superheroes! You'd think they had fins instead of feet, the way they glide and flip over the water. And the best part? Their infectious laughter and joy that echo across the water. Because in the end, it's not just about the thrill of wakeboarding, it's about the camaraderie, the shared laughs, and the unforgettable memories created under the warm North Carolina sun. So, strap on a lifejacket, grab a board, and join Winston and his friends for a splashin' good time in the wave-crashing world of wakeboarding!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
