Dancing Studio

Glenna has been living her dream for over four decades. Her passion for dance started in 1977, when she began teaching in the garage of her family home. During her senior year of high school, Glenna was already teaching at Griffith School of Dance in the evenings and Saturdays.

Glenna soon earned her Bachelor of Creative Arts Degree in dance education K-12 from U.N.C. at Charlotte. She then moved her studio from Glenn Ave to Cannon Village, before finally creating her own studio on Brookdale Street in Kannapolis.

Glenna has achieved great success over the years. Her talent with younger students was nationally recognized by Showstopper, the nation’s largest talent competition. She also has the privilege of working with So You Think You Can Dance choreographers and Broadway Stars. This year marks Glenna’s 41st year of inspiring students of all ages through her studio, Dance Dreams.

Our dance experts will work with you and your child to find a class that’s just right for you. We offer a special class for ages 2.5-3 yrs (Mousercise), Preschool and Gradeschool Combination Classes, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical Ballet, Hip Hop, Princess Fun, Birthday Parties, Performance and Competitive Teams.
