At To The Pointe we believe in creating an atmosphere of fun and learning. Our Kids Care program is an integral part of our mission. We offer an extended day program for parents that need to drop off their children early or pick up late. Our Kids Care staff is committed to creating a positive, safe and nurturing environment for your children. At To The Pointe Dance & Kids Care, we’ve been proudly serving the Hillsborough community since 2003. We’re conveniently located in Boone Square and offer high quality dance instruction for children of all ages, as well as dance and fitness classes for adults. Our dance classes go beyond the traditional ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, and musical theater. We also offer ballet for ice skaters and successful Competition Companies for advanced dancers. Plus, our summer camps and dance intensives provide a great opportunity for families who want to try dance without a full recital commitment. And, our Kids Care program supports our mission of creating an atmosphere of fun and learning. BeAKid
Ages 2 & 3
Our Intro To Dance class is open to children ages 2 to 3 years. Dancers participate in this class independently and will use their imaginations to explore the world of dance! Through the use of fun songs and movement, dancers will work on motor skills and start to learn the basics of Ballet.

Ages 3 & 4
Ages 3 & 4 Ballet & Tap class is intended to be a two year introduction to Ballet and Tap technique. In this class we explore rhythms, new ways to move, and to continue developing motor skills. Dancers need fitted dancewear, pink leather ballet shoes (black for boys), black patent velcro tap shoes. Ages 3 & 4 Ballet class is intended to be a two year introduction to Ballet. In this class we explore Ballet basics, new ways to move, and to continue developing motor skills. Dancers need fitted dancewear and pink leather ballet shoes (black for boys). Ages 3 & 4 Acro is a fun class designed to introduce basic gymnastics elements. Along with continuing to develop gross motor skills, there is a focus on stretching and body awareness.
