About Camp Judaea in Hendersonville, NC

Established in 1961, Camp Judaea has been providing these amazing experiences to children ages 7-15 for over fifty years! At Camp Judaea, our goal is to provide children with a safe and unique Jewish and Israel-centered summer experience. We offer a variety of activities that allow campers to explore their interests, expand their skills, and make lasting memories. Our loving and supportive environment allows campers to develop and transform in ways they never thought possible. We are proud to have been providing these amazing experiences to children for over fifty years!

Taste of Camp Judaea (Rising 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Graders)

This short term, introductory program exposes first time campers to the magic of Camp Judaea. Campers sample many of the activities offered in our longer sessions. Taste of Camp staff are experienced counselors who are sensitive to the needs of these new campers.

Full Session (Grades 3-9)

Camp Judaea is proud to offer unique program opportunities to Jewish youth with each summer curriculum designed to appropriately fit the developmental stages and needs of our campers. Many of our young campers begin their CJ experience with our 10-day Taste of CJ program – Rishonim. Others opt to participate in the full 25-day session.

Teen Programs (Grades 10-12)

Our programs for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders allow participants to spend time at CJ while also attending Camp Tel Yehudah, Young Judaea’s national teen leadership camp, or travel to Israel with Young Judaea’s Gesher trip. Through our various offerings, participants develop as leaders within Camp Judaea, Young Judaea, and their greater communities.
