For nearly 50 years, AAKA has been teaching the foremost forms of modern self defense in the Concord, NC area. Our personal empowerment program is designed to create a better citizen through physical fitness and the excitement of self defense. We offer classes for all ages, including special needs individuals. Our instructors provide everything needed to achieve success – from learning practical self defense skills to advancing to black belt and beyond. Karate

Classes for students of all ages
Adult Mixed Martial Arts Class (age 11 and up): Monday-Thursday at 6:45 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m.


Kid Karate (age 6-10): Monday-Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m.


Turtle Karate (age 3-5): Monday at 5:15 p.m. at the Odell School Rd. studio, and Thursday at 5:15 p.m. at the South Union studio.


Adult and Kid classes are offered five days a week, and Turtle Karate is offered twice a week (Mondays at Odell School Rd. and Thursdays at South Union).
