It was then that we took the plunge to create NC Aquatics. Our main objective is to teach every child strength, independence, and self-confidence through the joy of learning to swim. We have developed a program that is tailored to meet the individual needs of each swimmer. Our goal is to create strong and independent swimmers. That's why we have a 6-week evaluation period. If your child is not swimming at the expected level after 6 weeks of paid lessons, all subsequent lessons are free until they are swimming independently.
We are proud of the progress each of our swimmers have made in the pool and in life. We hope to share our passion with more families and to provide our swimmers with the necessary skills to gain strength, independence, and self-confidence. We look forward to hearing from you and helping your child reach their swimming goals.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Basic Training
Basic Training is a survival swim program that focuses on the swim-float-swim technique. It is for ages 10 months (strong crawling to walking) and older. The program is comprised of 10-15 minute daily lessons (monday-friday) and last 3 - 5 weeks. During the program your child will learn how to swim face-down in the correct swim posture, rollover to a float for rest and air, and roll back over to a propulsive swim. This program is second to none in developing strong and independent swimmers because it creates the perfect foundation for the long term.
Maintenance/Stroke Lessons
Upon completion of the Basic Training program students that wish to continue their swimming educations can begin Maintenance or Stroke Lessons. Maintenance lessons are design to keep your child's skills up while they continue to build strength and confidence in the water. Once your child has the necessary strength and confidence to begin stroke lessons we will focus on developing their Freestyle and Backstroke first, followed by Breaststroke and Butterfly.
PediaSwim
PediaSwim is a comprehensive infant swimming instructor certification program teaching infants and toddlers to swim-float-swim for fun and safety. In three to five weeks children learn to swim facedown, kicking in the correct posture and then rolling to a calm float, then flipping back over to a propulsive swim.
