At the Ackland Museum, we offer a variety of programs and resources to help parents and children explore and engage with our diverse collections and special exhibitions. With art from around the globe, the Ackland provides a unique opportunity for learners of all ages to research, enjoy, and be inspired by works of art. K-12 classes from Chapel Hill and across the area frequently take part in lively learning experiences with original works of art. By taking the time to carefully study and respond creatively to art from around the world, teachers and students can make meaningful connections with the school curriculum while also stimulating new ways of thinking.
