Triangle Esports Academy was opened in October 2020 by Caleb Smith and Vinny Smith. Caleb is a lifelong gamer and athlete, while Vinny is a computer programmer. Together, they created Triangle Esports Academy, a facility dedicated to using video gaming to build character and life skills. The staff are passionate about creating engaging and rewarding youth development experiences to create pathways for youth in STEM careers. Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff started off with a bang – their company Anders Ruff was an all-encompassing design business that offered graphic design, party styling, a DIY blog and an online shop. This caught the attention of many who soon asked for a brick and mortar store to host DIY workshops. So, in 2016 the two women responded to the request and founded AR Workshop. It has now expanded to over 125 franchises across the country, thanks to strategic franchise partnerships.
