About Camp High Rocks
At Camp High Rocks, we understand the importance of providing boys with a safe and supportive environment to grow and learn. Our experienced staff help to foster growth, independence and resilience in our campers through our traditional, family-owned summer camp.
Since 1958, we have been helping parents develop long-term relationships with their children by providing them with the chance to take part in activities of their own choice, and by setting and achieving personal goals. We recognize the sense of accomplishment that comes with mastering a new skill or spending time away from home, which is why we strive to give our campers the opportunity to embark on a life-changing journey.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Junior Camp
Our Junior Camp is a great place to “try” High Rocks. This session is designed to help boys have fun and build confidence away from home. The Junior Session will set boys and parents up for continued success in a longer session. Enrollment is limited to campers in grades 1-4.
Mini Camp Sessions
Our Mini sessions run concurrently with the July four-week session. It is a great opportunity for a younger brother to start out in a shorter session when his older brother is attending the full July session.
Our program also allows the boys to do the activities they choose nearly every day. If they choose rock climbing as an activity, they get to do it every day. This is not so for other camps where the “adventure” component is more of a “wee ha.” Here at Camp High Rocks they actually build skills and advance in these activities. These skills carry over to other athletics and activities.
August Session
Our two-week August session is a great place for many boys to begin your summer camp experience at Camp High Rocks!
Most one-week sessions are actually 5 days; dropping off on day one and picking up on day five. That leaves only three real days away from home. We feel that a few more days allow parents and campers to get into a groove or stride.
