About Camp Merri Mac

Merri-Mac is located in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, surrounded by nature and tall trees. Campers can enjoy activities such as horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. Our trips to nearby attractions, such as the Biltmore Estate and water parks, provide campers with even more fun and adventure. At Merri-Mac, we strive to provide an atmosphere of growth and friendship. Our staff are dedicated to helping campers discover their individual passions and talents, while providing a safe and supportive environment. Our goal is to help campers build lasting relationships with each other and foster a sense of personal growth and self-discovery.

Merri-Mac Program
Mornings are filled with two scheduled activities and an optional activity period, before a tasty lunch and rest time. The afternoon is spent in two more scheduled activities and free time. Out of camp excursions are spent in backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, rafting and climbing trips. A positive attitude is projected throughout the day. The emphasis is on do, rather than don’t. We believe that we were given a wonderful world and we have a lot of fun living in it.
