Jenni P08/24/20225My son loved the Appalachian music camp. He learned new songs on his violin (well, fiddle in this case) and had the experience of playing with others in a group where there were many different instruments. He can sometimes complain about practicing at home, but he LOVED going to camp each day. I don't know how the teachers accommodated so many different levels and instruments, but their little concert at the end was awesome! We are so grateful and hope to attend next year!
Marissa Z06/11/20215My son attended the ukulele camp. He was happy and excited every day when I picked him up. It was a friendly and supportive environment. He was encouraged to be creative and collaborate in small groups to write and perform their own song. Most importantly, he experienced the joy of making music with friends.
Blue B02/19/20204.88Beautiful and supportive community of lovers of music education. Michael Sebastian is not only an awesome cello teacher but is also is an exceptionally aware and caring person. He keeps lessons challenging, fun and creates an environment where I feel safe taking risks, making mistakes and sounding awful. HIGHLY Recommended!
Melissa R12/02/20204.88Great teachers. Tons of options for lessons and instruments. All ages. Love that they offer sliding scale scholarships and an outreach program. It's truly a community school.
Lori K09/25/20215The Asheville Music School is phenomenal! Our son takes saxophone from Lloyd Weinberg and the attention and caring and professionalism he exhibits is incredible. We are so pleased with the music education the school offers.
