Their leader is a unique character known as Captain Splash. Now, Captain Splash is no normal captain. No, he doesn't sail a ship. He sails through the water with powerful strokes and amazing agility! His goggles are his captain's hat and his swimsuit is his uniform. He is known to be as entertaining as a circus clown, often making the kids laugh out loud with his goofy antics and hilarious swimming exercises. The Captain's favorite joke? "Why don't fish play basketball? Because they're afraid of the net!" This is often followed by a hearty laugh and a big splash as Captain Splash dives into the water, the Mississippi Swimming Marvels giggling and following suit.
