About Handiwork School of Sewing in Walled Lake, MI

Linda Herald is the proud owner and sole staff member of Handiwork School of Sewing. She has a strong educational background in sewing and teaching, having studied the art and skill of sewing at Northville High School, Eastern Michigan University and Ball State University. Linda is also licensed to teach in public schools in the state of Michigan. At Handiwork, Linda provides sewing classes to learners of all levels, from those just starting out to those with advanced skills. No matter what your goal is - from creating clothing to home décor and quilting to accessories - Linda can help you learn how to achieve it. Each class session is tailored to the interests of the student, so come and get started on your sewing journey!

Programs at Handiwork School of Sewing in Walled Lake, MI

Sewing classes for ages 10-20

You will learn to use a sewing machine and make simple projects to try out your new skills! Tops, pants, bags and pillows are some of the first things you will make. All equipment and most materials are included in the first four lessons. There will be a maximum of 4 students in any class session, so lots of personal attention will be given.
