At YMCA Camp Eberhart, we are dedicated to nurturing and growing the potential of our campers and staff. We emphasize the development of self-confidence, self-esteem, self-efficacy, and character values, all of which are essential components of our campers’ growth. Our campers learn to work together and respect one another, and develop strong social skills in a unique and lasting way. Most importantly, YMCA Camp Eberhart is a values-oriented experience, teaching children life-long skills such as sharing, cooperation, commitment, tolerance, and respect for others. Through these lessons, our campers learn to make a positive difference in the world. We strive to instill in our campers the confidence and understanding that their actions can have a lasting impact on their lives and those of the people around them. At YMCA Camp Eberhart, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for our campers and staff to grow and flourish. Our goal is to ensure that our campers leave with a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them, as well as the skills to make a positive impact in their lives and the lives of those around them.

Day Camp

Not quite sure if you are ready for your child to experience overnight camp? Looking for an alternative to traditional child care for the summer? Want an amazing experience for your 4-12-year-old? Day Camp at YMCA Camp Eberhart is for you! Our Day Camp consists of two tribes: Little Hawks, ages 4-8 Thunderbirds, ages 9-12 Each tribe’s programming is designed specifically for the age groups in each tribe. Tribes are divided into smaller groups ensuring quality programming with great staff. Each of our Day Camp tribes will also have the opportunity to visit our camp store on a daily basis to purchase additional snacks or merchandise. A morning snack and lunch will be provided.

Equestrian

YMCA Camp Eberhart’s equestrian programs combine safe and healthy horses, trained staff, and excellent facilities to create a positive atmosphere where campers can focus on horses. These programs allow our campers the opportunity to advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends. We feature a herd of well-trained horses of a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. Plus, all YMCA Camp Eberhart horseback riding programs are instructed by equestrian-trained, CPR/First Aid-certified staff. Our goal is to teach participants the fundamentals of riding while developing skills, coordination, confidence, and self-esteem.

Overnight Camp

Sending your kids to YMCA Camp Eberhart gives them the opportunity to learn and grow in an extraordinary environment. The skills learned during their time at camp will be used throughout their life and they will never forget the time they spend here. We hear it from campers old and new, there is no place like YMCA Camp Eberhart in all the world. Overnight programs include Traditional Overnight Camp, 3-Day Try-It Camp, Astro Camp, Ranch Camp, Staff-In-Training, Leadership Core, and Service Crew.
