Welcome to Camp Chickagami, the ACA-Accredited Family Camping Center of The Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Michigan! We provide a safe and inclusive environment for both campers and staff of all creeds, national origins, religious beliefs, colors, ethnicities, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, family structures, and abilities. Our goal is to be a brave space for families to come together and grow in their faith.
At Camp Chickagami, we offer residential summer youth camping programs and facilitated adult retreats. During these times, heaven and earth come together as one in a thin space that allows for spiritual growth. We also allow families, churches, and organizations to rent our space at other times. Join us for a truly special and meaningful experience – we hope to see you soon!
Our overnight camps are residential programs featuring outdoor activities, crafts, games, and more. Campers will join our Christian Formation team in exploring their faith through an age-appropriate, engaging, and self-led program. Throughout the week, our campers build leadership skills, gain independence, and form lifelong friendships.
