About Plymouth Community Arts Council in Plymouth, MI
At our organization, we believe that art is essential for the creative health of our community. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to access art, we are facilitating in-person art classes, providing meaningful employment for art instructors, and supporting local artists with exhibits, gift shops, and customized in-person gallery opportunities. We also provide art appreciation outreach materials to educators and families. Additionally, we offer an inspiring and creative place for business, spiritual, and support groups to meet.
We are dedicated to providing quality arts opportunities for everyone in our community and we rely on the financial support of our community to do this. Afterschool Drawing Class - Styles & Techniques
Five weeks of drawing instruction and practice will help student artists discover their style...we will explore cartooning and character creation, as well as realistic drawing techniques in graphite, pen, marker, and colored pencil. Choose your subjects with lots of references here for artistic inspiration - All materials are provided, but students may bring a sketchbook.

You & Me Together Art Classes
You & Me Together Art is a wonderful daytime class for children and their caregivers participating side by side - Moms, Dads, Grandparents, and Nannies! Art projects are designed with modifications for all different skill levels and include seasonal painting, clay, collage, and more. Dress for the mess :) The class will teach basic art skills through a variety of media (paint, clay, drawing) with caregivers helping as much or as little as needed.
