At the Diaz School of Piano, your child can experience the best of both worlds—traditional classical piano music, as well as contemporary, blues, and pop styles. With its pattern-based approach to teaching, your child can explore improvisation, arranging, and composing pieces. Plus, the social atmosphere of the classes gives your child the opportunity to make friends, share successes and challenges, and receive motivation to keep learning and growing. At the Diaz School of Piano, your child can take their music to the next level. With its comprehensive curriculum, your child can learn traditional classical music, as well as contemporary, blues, and pop styles. And with its unique pattern-based approach to teaching, your child can explore improvisation, arranging, and composing pieces. Plus, the social setting of the classes allows your child to make friends, share successes and challenges, and receive motivation to continue to develop their piano skills. This is a great opportunity to help your child express their creativity and share their gifts with the community.

Playing Instrument

Learning to play piano at a young age provides the benefit of carrying those skills for life.  Elementary classes provide and build on basics of piano playing and encourage students to grow in confidence of their skills through performance time and recitals.  

Elementary

Middle and high school students who are new to piano as well as those who have years of experience are invited to develop and grow their skills with other students their age.  

Middle School/High School

These 4-week session lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and engagement in music, through activities including singing, movement, very basic piano, and playing percussion instruments. A parent or caregiver must attend with their child.
