At the SHAC, parents can find a vibrant and diverse makerspace, gallery, shop, and community gathering place. It is an endeavor of the nonprofit Milford Village Fine Arts Association, and welcomes everyone from budding artists to award-winning, accomplished artists of all ages and abilities. The SHAC is especially dedicated to pre-teens and teens, people with disabilities, and youth, providing classes and gallery space for them to create and explore their talents.
The studio space at the SHAC can be rented for private use, and is equipped with open studio and space for art instruction. It is also the perfect place to host events, with its welcoming atmosphere and diverse range of classes. The gift shop provides the perfect place to find unique gifts, while the gallery offers a space to show off the creativity of the community.
At the SHAC, parents can find a supportive and nurturing environment for their children to explore their creativity. The Milford Village Fine Arts Association’s community gathering place is the perfect place to gather with family and friends, learn new skills, and create something special. Summer Art Camps with Ms. Debby
Have creative kids? Join the SHAC summer art camp! Kids will use many types of mediums on multiple art projects throughout the week. Each day, students will be taken to Central Park for an hour or longer to burn off artist energy and do art. The last day, the students will host family to view their masterpieces in an art show. Please bring a backpack with: lunch, snack, water bottle, sunscreen! Ages: 7-14. Instructor: Debby Warner-McRae (Country Oaks Elementary Art Teacher)

Acrylic Painting for Teens
Ages: 10-18. Students will learn the basics of acrylic painting on canvas. They will get the chance to paint whatever they choose (must bring reference photos). Supplies provided, including: paint, brushes and 2 canvases. This class will meet individuals where they are at skill wise, individual instruction given. Instructor: Abigail Powers (former Muir Middle School Art Teacher).

Emotions with Art Camp
Ages: 7-14. June 20, 21, 22, 10am-1pm - in this 3 day camp students will create a series of artwork depicting different emotions. You can register for 1, 2 or 3 days! Students will be able to creatively express their emotions and learn how to release them onto a canvas. Taught by Mrs. A (former Johnson El and current Dolsen El Art Teacher).
