Rising Star Studio of Dance Arts has been an important part of the local community for more than 30 years. Founded in 1989, this studio is owned by Lori Arendsen and staffed with a team of passionate, energetic dance instructors. With three locations in Waverly, Grand Ledge, and DeWitt, Rising Star offers dance instruction to students of all ages, from 18 months old and up.Each spring, the studio puts on a professionally-run recital that allows all students to showcase their skills. But that’s not all – select groups are invited to perform locally and across the state to compete and entertain. These additional performance opportunities are a great way to help dancers reach the next level. At Rising Star, the goal is to create a positive, respectful, and family-like atmosphere while also providing the best possible dance education.
