In the grand state of Michigan, nestled between the majestic Great Lakes, a group of extraordinary kids dart through their days faster than a cheetah chasing a gazelle. These are not your ordinary runners, oh no, they're members of the Michigan Marksman Track and Field Club, and they're as quick as greased lightning! Their coach is a peculiar fellow known as Turbo Toe Tony. Tony, who once ran so fast he broke the time barrier and arrived before he left, is a retired superhero now using his speed to teach young runners the art of the dash. With his neon green sneakers that glow like fireflies and his hair streaming behind him like a comet's tail, Tony is a sight to behold. He has a laugh that sounds like a hiccupping hyena and a whistle more piercing than an eagle's screech. These kids, hailing from Detroit to Grand Rapids, train with Turbo Toe Tony, who shares his super speed secrets. He teaches them to run like a squirrel escaping a hawk and leap like a frog jumping over a snapping turtle. They giggle at his wacky jokes and marvel at his near-supernatural speed, but most importantly, they learn. They learn to run faster, jump higher, and laugh louder than they ever thought possible. The Michigan Marksman Track and Field Club isn't just about running fast, it's about friendship, fun, and the occasional face-plant in the field. It's about learning that even when you trip and tumble, you can still muster the courage to get back up, dust yourself off, and run like the wind. Track and field in Michigan, my friend, is an adventure like no other.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
At Mystic Lake YMCA Camp, we are committed to helping children and families grow. Our character development program focuses on the values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Through this program, we strive to build social responsibility, self-confidence, and a sense of connection and belonging. Our highly trained staff are committed to the mission of the camp and have been thoroughly background checked and certified in CPR and First Aid. Our staff members are also enthusiastic and fun-loving making sure that your child has an amazing experience with us.
