At Broadway Dance Co, dancing is more than just a hobby — it's an artform! Our classes cater to dancers of all levels, from beginner to advanced. We prioritize the fundamentals of Ballet and then build upon that foundation with our commitment to excellence. Our Competition Team is like a family, and our welcoming environment encourages students to reach their full potential with the support of our friendly, college-educated, professional instructors and a community of parents. 

In addition to weekly classes, BDC offers guest choreographers and auditioning opportunities to further develop our dancer's skills. We are proud to be a leader in dance training in the Lake Orion area, providing a safe and supportive space for dancers of all ages and abilities.

Acrobatic Arts ClassesBroadway Dance Co's Acrobatic Arts program is based on safe and effective progressive with proven results in 5 divisions of Acrodance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering, and Tumbling, Simple, thoughtful progressions take the beginner preschool level dancer from logrolls and somersaults to more advanced tumbling effortlessly across the stage. Dancers will be tested each year by a certified instructor. Dancers must pass with an 80% or higher to advance to the next level. Levels are based on technical ability, not age.

Acrobatic Arts

A perfect beginner class! Fairy Ballet (ages 3-4) and Broadway Babies (ages 2-3) is designed to keep your dancer moving for 30 minutes. Sing-along songs, creative movement, and beginner dance terminology will be taught. Dancers do not need to be potty-trained but must be able to go into the dance room without a caregiver. Parents may observe the class from the viewing window.

Fairy Ballet & Broadway Babies Ages 2-4

Lyrical dance is a style that combines Ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics of the song. This style concentrates on an individual approach and expressiveness of such emotions as love, joy, hurt, or anger. It does not concentrate on the dancer’s precision of movement.
