With his neon green sneakers, Sam can bounce so high, it's rumored he can high-five the fluffy, marshmallow-like clouds! Despite the hilarity of Sam's gravity-defying hairdos, it's no joke how high these Michigan kids can jump. They can practically hop over the Mackinac Bridge in a single bound! Their laughter and cheer can be heard echoing across the state, from the shadow of Detroit's towering skyscrapers to the sandy shores of Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our 1300 acres of beautiful landscape in the Irish Hills region of southeast Michigan create the perfect environment for campers to explore, discover and grow. YMCA Storer Camps have been offering Outdoor Education programs since the late 1960s, making us one of the earliest programs of its kind in the United States. Our two centers, located on both sides of Stony Lake, offer a variety of programs for our campers.
