    About Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation in Grand Blanc, MI

    The Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation Department has been serving the community since 1970. It started out as a part-time operation, but quickly grew to a full-time operation in 1975. Today, the department is proud to offer programming and special events for people of all ages. Whether you’re a preschooler, a teen, an adult, or a senior citizen, there’s something for you at the Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation Department! No matter how old you are, there’s something for you at the Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation Department.     Join us at Bicentennial Park on Saturday, May 13th from 9-11 am as we work on the fundamentals of baseball! Tune up before the start of the t-ball and coach pitch season! Stations: Fundamentals of playing catch Fielding ground balls Hitting Base running

    Coach Pitch Softball (Ages 6-9)

    GIRLS' COACH PITCH SOFTBALL WILL RUN ON TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS. PRACTICES AND GAMES WILL ALL TAKE PLACE AT CREASEY BICENTENNIAL PARK. TEAMS WILL BE LED BY VOLUNTEER COACHES. THIS LEAGUE IS INSTRUCTIONALLY BASED AND WILL INCLUDE BOTH PRACTICES AND GAMES WITH A FOCUS ON FUN & FUNDAMENTALS! PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A JERSEY (BLACK PANTS SHOULD BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY). PRACTICES START THE WEEK OF JUNE 19TH. WE WILL HAVE THE WEEK OF THE 4TH OF JULY OFF. GAMES START THE WEEK OF JULY 17TH AND RUN THROUGH THE 3RD WEEK IN AUGUST.
