The sun is shining, the temperatures are rising, and the world is full of green - it must be summertime! And that means it’s time for Camp Raanana! For over five decades, Camp Raanana has been the place where children have made some of their best summer memories. Located at Cedar Lake Nature Center in Chelsea, MI, Camp Raanana is the perfect place for children ages 5 to high school to enjoy the outdoors.
Camp Raanana offers a unique balance of structured activities and free play, and campers are guaranteed plenty of peer interaction and supervision. Our staff is highly trained and experienced, led by a Camp and Youth Director who plans and coordinates a summer of enriching activities. And each day of camp starts with a personal greeting to get campers excited for another fun day at Camp Raanana!
The Ozrim (also known as Ozo) Program is a great Counselor-in-Training program for kids going into 10th grade! In addition to the outdoor experience at Cedar Lake, Ozos will receive training and guidance to prepare them to later step into the counselor position.

Camp Raanana
Camp Raanana serves children entering Kindergarten through Grade 10. Campers are placed into groups by grade consisting of 5 or more campers. Each cabin is supervised by two or three staff members depending on the age group. Campers will participate in activities within their groups, and other activities individually based on their choice of chugim (electives). Groups also participate in divisional and all-camp programs. Middle school-aged campers engage in leadership activities and have a wider range of choices in activities. High school-aged participants are Counselors-in-Training, and engage in leadership and life skill development as well as enjoying the great outdoors and community excursions.
