About SonDance Academy

At our dance studio, we prioritize creating a nurturing environment for our students in order to help them develop technique, character, and faith. We are proud to provide comprehensive dance training in a wide variety of styles for learners of all ages, from toddlers to adults. Our experienced teachers specialize in jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern/contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom and musical theatre, as well as martial arts. We strive to ensure each student can reach their full potential and gain a better understanding of the art of dance. In addition to teaching technique, we also focus on helping our students develop their characters and faith. We believe that by developing a strong sense of self, our students can become more confident in their abilities and better able to express themselves through dance. We also provide an opportunity for our students to explore their faith and discover inner strength through creative expression. At our dance studio, we strive to provide quality instruction and a safe, supportive atmosphere for our students in order to promote growth in technique, character, and faith. We believe that by encouraging our students to explore the art of dance and develop their skills, they can become better dancers and better people.

Creative Movement (Ages 2-4)
A dance class for young movers. Children will discover the joy of dance and be introduced to the basics of movement for all forms of dance. Pre- ballet, rhythms, motor skills, coordination, imagination.

Little Hip Hop (Ages 4-5)
High energy dance with contemporary movement.

Beginner Ballet
Beginner ballet class introducing the formal format of a traditional class with barre and center exercises. Students will learn the fundamentals of classical dance. Strengthen posture, engage larger and more intricate movement skills, develop classroom protocol and move with enjoyment.
