Challenge Program

Campers finishing 8th, 9th and 10th grades participate in the Challenge program, a three-year program designed to challenge the campers as individuals while emphasizing the crucial process of building and working together in a group. As trust is built, campers feel safe enough to stretch themselves in new ways. Typically, participants leave camp one day a week to go hiking, biking or canoeing, or stay inside camp for ropes course activities. During overnight trips, groups stay at campsites where they cook their own meals and sleep in tents. Challenge groups also work together performing community service projects.
