In this high impact session, players will be shown proper shooting technique, get quality repetitions and be provided feedback on enhancing their ability to shoot the lights out. This clinic will teach each participant numerous shooting and scoring skills to help build confidence in goal scoring. Shot instruction focuses on balance, release, power and accuracy, with a skating component added in for shooting in stride. Players will learn correct wrist/snap shot shooting mechanics and catch-release shooting skills as well as proper mechanics of slap shots, backhanders and one-timers.

This complete and comprehensive body contact, checking and battle training program focuses on the key elements a player needs in order to be a strong, safe and effective checker. Our curriculum breaks down the skills, techniques and mechanics of body checking in a safe yet highly effective manner. Body contact is a huge part of the game and as players transition to bantam hockey where body checking becomes a critical element it is important, they are confident in their abilities to initiate and receive contact throughout the game. Players will learn how to properly give and receive a body check and utilize contact and their body to protect the puck and win battles. Players will compete in a variety of drills and games to focus on various parts of the physical aspect of the game and most importantly feel confident in the new environment.

This 10-week high level skating program will utilize elements of power skating, figure skating and hockey specific movements to properly emphasize correct technique ensuring proper muscle memory development. Our Pure Skating Program teaches proper body positions, strong edges, tight turns, forward and backward stride, speed, balance and agility, crossovers and more. Stickhandling, passing, shooting and scoring will be incorporated into skating skills and techniques.
