Worcester Center for Crafts is a proud part of Worcester’s cultural fabric, being one of the oldest institutions in the city and one of the first of its kind in the United States. Established in 1856 as the Worcester Employment Society, the Center provided women with the skills and opportunity to make and sell handcrafts.
