This inspiring initiative, Main IDEA, was founded by a group of passionate artists, musicians, and dancers who dreamt of creating a more open and accessible arts community in Worcester. The workshops ran in the summer of 2011, and gave kids an opportunity to explore their creative side in a safe and supportive environment. After the week of creative exploration, the kids were able to share their artwork in a showcase with family, friends, and community members. Main IDEA is a fantastic example of how creativity can bring people together and help foster a more open and accessible arts community.

Art Club 

Express yourself through art and learn to skate for free! For girls, women, gals, trans, and non-binary folx ages 8-17. Artist and Skating Guides will be available for tips, instruction, and support throughout the entirety of the event. Boards, skates, and protective equipment will be available to borrow for free

The mission of Main IDEA, a very well-run organization that mentors at-risk youth to become self-assured leaders and genuinely good people, is to introduce them to the arts.
It's an honor to have been a part of this change in Main South and Worcester as a whole because they're genuinely making a difference.
