About Launch and Learn Educare Center

They are proud of who they are and what they do! At Launch and Learn, we take pride in providing the highest quality of care for each and every child. Our wonderful teachers create and maintain a caring and safe environment for every student. Our teacher-to-child ratios exceed the requirements of the State of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care – having more teachers in each classroom allows us to offer the best possible level of attention and care to all of our students. Our classrooms are kept clean and organized, creating an ideal environment for your child. Our teachers are constantly washing toys and surfaces throughout the day and every evening, ensuring that everything is as spotless as possible. Launch and Learn is owned and operated by a local family with strong ties to the Greater Boston community. Our first center opened in 2015 on the Woburn and Winchester town line, and the second center opened in Medford Square in June of 2018. We are proud of the quality of care we provide to our students, and we are dedicated to continuing to offer the best possible early learning experiences.

Infant Care

Launch and Learn EduCare Center provides an environment that is clean, safe, and nurturing for infants six weeks of age and older. Infant teachers are experienced, educated and certified professionals and provide the highest quality of care. They believe that the infants need more than just basic day care. Therefore, they provide an atmosphere rich in music, literacy and exploration. They try to make the transition for parents as smooth as possible and understand that it is difficult to leave your infant in the care of others. They have an open door policy and encourage parents to visit during lunch or nursing mothers to nurse their baby during the day. Infant parents are able to see their baby throughout the day on our secure "live camera feed" as well as call to speak directly to their child's teachers. Teachers are also trained in First Aid, CPR, sleep safety and medication administration.

Toddler Program

Toddler program at Launch and Learn EduCare Center is set to meet the needs of each individual child. The classrooms are safe, clean, and bright. They have established an environment where the children learn self- help skills, social skills and academic skills, but most importantly they create a base for positive self-esteem. The first three years of life are the most crucial, during these years they will develop qualities that will be the foundation for life, positive attitude, manners and confidence. Our teachers will introduce toddlers to curriculum that is age appropriate, enjoyable, creative, fun and aligned with early learning standards and guidelines. We have an open door policy and encourage parents to visit during lunch or throughout the day in our toddler classrooms. We encourage parents to call as often as needed. Our certified teachers are also trained in First Aid, CPR, sleep safety and medication administration.

Preschool and Pre-K

Preschool and pre-k programs at Launch and Learn EduCare Center offer a great range of activities and exploration opportunities. They focus on encouraging independence and self-confidence. The children have a large variety of hands-on curriculum, geared toward problem solving skills, reading and language arts, math, science and more! Teachers provide the children with the freedom to express their emotions, opinions and problem solving skills. Preschool and pre-k programs allow children to exercise their curiosity and imagination. They encourage self-help skills, which the children will continue to use every day throughout their lives. The teachers are well educated and dedicated to each child. The curriculum is age appropriate, we exceed the state standards and guidelines. Our goal is to give your child an excellent base, so they may shine in their subsequent school years.
