About Pleasant Times Learning Center in Winthrop, MA
Founded in 1993 by the late Roseann Tavares, Pleasant Times Learning Center has been providing children with an enriching and unique educational experience for over 25 years. Her daughter, Andrea, has taken the torch and is providing a personalized spin on her mother’s legacy. At PTLC, children can explore, develop confidence, and grow in a safe and supportive environment. Our infant program will support and nurture your child's first step into the world. We take time to learn your home routine so we can provide the same care for them while at school. We provide a safe and loving environment while also focusing on developing important skills to help them grow and thrive. Our toddler programs are packed with great activities to get our little explorers excited to learn! We encourage our toddlers to learn and discover new things every day, as they grow in independence at their own pace. Preschool Program
We know your preschooler is eager to start learning independently with confidence. The goal for our preschool program is not just learning fundamental reading and writing skills, but developing basic social skills that will help our learners throughout their lives. Our hands on program includes a variety of creative new ways to explore and learn! Parents are always encouraged to participate!
