About Miss Kay's School of Dance

Our main goal is to bring out the best in each student and make sure they are having a fun & positive experience. For 28 years, Miss Kay's School of Dance has been dedicated to providing a nurturing and encouraging environment for children and young adults of all ages. We understand that learning to dance can be both a challenge and a rewarding experience, and with our team of experienced and engaging teachers, we strive to make sure that each student feels comfortable and confident. At Miss Kay's School of Dance, we offer a variety of classes, from beginner level to competitive dance for all ages. We also specialize in working with special needs children to ensure that everyone is given the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. Our teachers emphasize positive reinforcement and personal attention in helping to bring out the best in each student. Finally, we strive to create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all associated with the school. We believe that dance is a great way to boost both physical and mental wellbeing, and we make sure that every child feels supported and empowered, with lots of hugs, praise and encouragement.

TINY TOTS: 2 & 3-year-olds:
during the week or Saturday mornings 45 minute or 1-hour class depending on the day the class includes; circle time, ballet, tumbling on the mat & tap 2 routines in the annual recital 1 costume

PRE/KINDER DANCE: 4 & 5-year-olds
during the week or Saturday mornings 1-hour class the class is a more advanced version of our tiny tots class focusing on musicality, ballet & tap basics and an introduction to jazz dance 2 routines in the annual recital 1 costume

COMBO CLASS: 6-8-year-olds & 7-9-year-olds
during the week or Saturday mornings 1 1/2 hour class 30 minutes of each of the following; ballet, jazz & tap 3 routines in the annual recital 2 costumes
