Our founder, Robert Sever Hale, recognized the potential of the land and its resources for developing responsible citizens, and we continue to honor his legacy through our flagship camps, youth programs, family and community activities, school partnerships, and professional development opportunities. We serve several thousand children and families from 70 Greater Boston communities annually, and invite visitors of all ages to explore our 1,100+ acres of forests, ponds, and meadows in Westwood and Dover, Massachusetts. Our land management practices are guided by our commitment to Hale’s vision, which provides a unique opportunity to reconnect with one another and with the natural world through education, recreation, and exploration.
