About Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative

The Longmeadow-Palmer-Wilbraham Educational Collaborative (LPVEC) is a regional effort to promote academic excellence and educational opportunity for children in seven school districts. LPVEC's mission is to provide support and services to its member districts in order to ensure high-quality education for all students. LPVEC is dedicated to helping the member districts of Agawam, East Longmeadow, Hampden Wilbraham Regional, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional, and West Springfield, achieve their academic goals. The collaborative offers an array of services to educators, including professional development, data analysis, technical assistance related to education initiatives, program evaluation, and grant support. LPVEC's team of experienced professionals is committed to providing the highest quality of assistance and support to the member districts. Through their work, LPVEC strives to ensure that each student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

COMPASS ELEMENTARY PROGRAM
Compass Elementary Program is designed for students with moderate to severe autism and related disabilities. The program is designed to encourage the development of academic readiness skills as well as social skills and cooperative play. Program activities also support the development of positive relationships with peers and adults.

Compass Middle Program
Compass Middle Program is designed for students with moderate to severe autism and related disabilities. Opportunities for inclusion in non-academic and academic areas are available when appropriate. The program is designed to encourage the development of academic skills as well as social skills and self-care practices. Students in this program participate in hands-on pre-vocational activities. Program activities also support the development of positive relationships with peers and adults.

Compass High School Program
Compass High School Program is designed for students with moderate to severe autism and related disabilities. The program focuses on encouraging as much independence as appropriate in both the school and community settings. Opportunities for inclusion in non-academic and academic areas are available when appropriate. The program is designed to encourage the growth of academic and daily living skills. Students in this program participate in hands-on pre-vocational activities. Program activities also support the development of positive relationships with peers and adults.
