About Watertown Children's Theatre in Watertown, MA
Watertown Children's Theatre is a great place for your child to explore the world of theatre. From on-site classes, workshops, and private lessons to vacation week experiences and after school programs, there is something for everyone. Through these programs, participants are able to explore a variety of topics, from the creation of an idea to performance and backstage work.
At WCT, participants of all ages have the chance to join an ensemble and gain confidence as they hone their singing, acting, and movement/dance skills. As if that wasn't enough, parents/guardians can join in the fun by working together on off-stage committees to help bring the production to life. The season culminates in fully staged performances for the public, with three main programs - Main Stage Musical Series, Junior Players, and the Black Box Series.

The A Cappella Experience (grades 6-12)
Join WCT’s a cappella group! This highly popular style of music both delights and challenges participants as they work towards developing a diverse repertoire of songs for performances on-site and potentially out in the community! Song selection and style are driven by members’ ideas and preferences to create a one-of-a-kind group truly unique to WCT. Returning members are encouraged to continue in order to further their skills and repertoire, and new participants are invited to join each term! Previous singing experience recommended.
