MASTERCLASS 1(Age 13-up)
Join Artistic Director Rachel Bertone in the first masterclass of the series! In this class, Bertone will discuss the impact that the legendary Jerome Robbins had on the film, dance, and theatre world and why his works, such as West Side Story, On the Town, Peter Pan, The King and I, Gypsy, and Fiddler on the Roof, are still studied, performed, and celebrated today. Bertone will also teach original West Side Story choreography and break down the intention behind the moves. At the end of class, Bertone will host a Q&A for participants.

For the second Masterclass, join Artistic Director Rachel Bertone as she discusses Bob Fosse’s legacy within the theatre, film, and dance industries. Bertone will explore the importance of his works like Cabaret, Chicago, Sweet Charity, Damn Yankees, and The Pajama Game and she will teach original choreography from Pippin. The class will culminate with a Q&A for participants to ask any questions.

Join Artistic Director Rachel Bertone for the final masterclass of the series! As a director and theatre educator, Bertone helps actors connect more deeply to their work and bring their performance and audition skills to the next level. At this masterclass, Bertone will share how to make any song or monologue memorable so that you impress those behind the table and book the job. Select participants will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Bertone so be prepared with a song or monologue! She will help these actors explore new choices as they receive constructive feedback within a safe environment. Observers will share feedback and gain first-hand experience watching Bertone work alongside performers.
