About Communities United

Communities United, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping families living in the cities of Arlington, Belmont, Brookline, Burlington, Needham, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Wellesley and Woburn. We understand that families come from all walks of life, so we strive to identify and prioritize the needs of the most at-risk families. The diversity of our communities has increased significantly over the past few years. This means that we must be prepared to better serve the needs of a larger population with varied backgrounds and cultures. We place a special focus on language and literacy, and we are proud to have a staff that reflects the population we serve. Moreover, we are committed to providing our staff with the necessary professional development and support. At Communities United, Inc., we are dedicated to helping families from all backgrounds and walks of life build a better, brighter future. Our organization is committed to identifying and prioritizing the needs of those most at-risk, and to providing them with the necessary language and literacy skills to make their dreams a reality. Whaltham Creative Start

CUI give preschool children and families an opportunity to experience growth by providing an environment that encourages participation and interaction in a full range of developmentally appropriate activities. We strive to increase the ability of children and families to cope with and initiate change in their lives and build upon the gains made through their experiences.
