Sunshine South

Our infant rooms are licensed for seven infants. The primary focus of caregivers in this room is to nurture and provide comfort to meet the individual needs of each baby. We maintain our ratios of one teacher to three babies or two teachers to seven babies; however often times we will have a teacher floating between the infant and toddler rooms as an extra set of hands. This enables our staff to amply provide quality care for each baby. We realize the great commitment that comes in choosing the appropriate caretaking for your young infant. That is why Sunshine has dedicated the infant room to be an environment filled with love. Sunshine also assists each family transition into childcare. Lullabies, hugs, and snuggles are an ongoing part of each day and in our opinion, is the foundation of any successful transition for your baby.

Our Toddler program is dedicated to older infants & toddlers. In these classrooms, the foundations of basic social and educational concepts, sharing, verbal expression, language development, and social interaction contribute to the goal of our Toddler program. Our Toddler program is licensed to accommodate 9 toddlers. The staffing ratio consists of 2 teachers to 9 children. If the need is present our toddler program is licensed to accommodate 3 infants with 6 toddlers for a total capacity of 9 children.

Children progress and develop throughout the educational curriculum at their own pace with the assistance of our professional teaching staff. Our goal is to instill a positive/healthy self-esteem, self-independence, and pride for each child enrolled in the preschool program.
