About Potters Place in Sharon, MA
Our Show & Sales are a great way to meet the skilled and talented potters, as well as take home a piece of their work. Twice a year, the studio showcases the work of our member artists and raises a donation for a local charity. Join us and be part of something special. All are welcome at Potters Place, a 501(c)(3) cooperative, not-for-profit ceramics studio that offers a variety of hand-building and wheel-throwing programs for children, teens, and adults of all levels. Programs at Potters Place in Sharon, MA
BeAKid
Kids Classes
Have you ever wanted to work with clay? In this class children have fun while learning the basic skills of pinching, coiling, slab building and learning the pottery wheel. A variety of projects are made in class such as bowls, animal sculptures, pots and projects from their imagination! Children will decorate and glaze their own pottery. Both beginner and repeat students are encouraged to explore skills at their own pace.

Teen Classes
In this class students will learn basic wheel-throwing and hand-building skills. Teens will work on a variety of projects through guided demonstrations and are also encouraged to develop their own ideas. Students will learn glazing techniques using a range of studio glazes.
BeAKid
Adult Classes
Have fun in creating a hand built platter with your chosen textures, patterns and designs in this one night try-it class. No experience necessary.
